My Year in Lockdown
The Coronavirus pandemic has been a challenge for everyone. As a widow living on my own, with no family nearby, I found the loss of hugs and physical contact difficult to bear at times. Our Wifie assignments throughout this time, however, helped refocus my mind, posing challenges for my imagination and photographic skills. I paid more attention to nature and what was happening around me. The subject of my photographs changed with the seasons, with nature providing great solace during the summer months, while winter found me returning to hobbies I had neglected. These photographs reflect my life from March 2020 to February 2021.
