I’d like to dedicate my version of ‘Choose to Challenge’ to my friend, Jan Gladys, an indomitable fighter for lesbian and disability rights- who saw the sweetness in life and created community wherever she went.

Having had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for many years, I recognise and empathise with those suffering from Long Covid.
Life under Lockdown is a familiar world to me - as it will be for many people with disabilities and health conditions that have imposed limits on their daily lives. Choose to Challenge is a huge and varied topic- here’s the brainstorming I did to start me off.

It's about not giving yourself a hard time for what you can't do or haven't done, but giving yourself a pat on the back for what you have done, however small.
