The challenge, to capture a mood or take a photograph conveying an atmosphere was the assignment for Wifie members this time round. As a photographer it is important to consider these elements because it allows you to transform a simple image into a scene that conveys a feeling or a visual story to connect with the viewer. Think about cool colours for calmness or rich colours for warmth and energy. Link these colours to light and exposure to explore High Key and Low Key photography. Alternatively look at setting your camera for B&W or sepia and to see how this changes the effect of the image or play around with alternative colour settings to achieve a whole new vibe, maybe one that is reminiscent of the 1950's. Make the most of what the weather offers to achieve different moods.
